About the Job:
Here at Kissaki, we are looking for a person to help the chef prep each station with other Japanese apps/dishes in accordance with food, health, safety regulations, and restaurant standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare ingredients for daily service (cleaning, chopping, measuring, etc.).
  • Assist chefs and kitchen team with food prep tasks (prepping sauces, cutting meat, fish and vegetables, helping each station with prep work).
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment.
  • Follow food safety guidelines and kitchen protocols.
  • Restock prep stations and kitchen supplies as needed.
  • Work efficiently under pressure during busy hours.

Requirements:
  • Previous kitchen experience is required.
  • Must be punctual, reliable, and able to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Flexible availability – nights, weekends, and holidays may be required.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
